Self-esteem relates to your self-worth and your own assessment of yourself. It’s not about what other people think of you because what other people think of you will affect you only if you agree with their assessment.

We are all born with self confidence, but somewhere along the way between childhood and adulthood, we lose some of it. Many people have low self confidence; others have confidence in one or more areas of their lives but not others.

Lack of self confidence is often one of the reasons for lots of other problems and difficulties. Therefore when seeing clients for phobias, losing weight, stopping smoking etc, hypnotherapists often work on confidence first of all. – if you achieve more confidence, just about every area of your life will change in some way.

Hypnosis accesses your subconscious and gives you the tools and information to build your confidence and self-esteem.

How many hypnotherapy sessions will I need?

It all depends on the person but I often find that even after just one session, a significant improvement is made.  However, I recommend a minimum of 4-6 hypnosis sessions to ensure that it is a permanent improvement rather than a temporary one.
