Hypnotherapist Bridgette Mansfield DipHyp GHR NGH GHSC is based in Winchmore Hill, North London N21 and the Eve-and-Adam spa in St Albans, Herts.

I am a registered clinical hypnotherapist, and a member of the General Hypnotherapy Register, General Hypnotherapy Standards Council and the National Guild of Hypnotists. These organisations operate strict codes of conduct and ethics - which are upheld faithfully. I am experienced in using the most up-to-date and advanced techniques in Hypnosis including NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming).

I am also extremely passionate about how hypnotherapy can help with all kinds of problems especially stopping smoking, weight control, habits, anxiety, fears & phobias and birthing

I decided to become a Hypnotherapist and HypnoBirthing Practitioner after the birth of my second son. I had wonderful experiences with both my sons but at that time, I had not heard of HypnoBirthing until I read about it afterwards and realised that during my birthing, I had hypnotised myself without knowing it!

I felt so empowered by the whole experience, I wanted to be able to share the knowledge and make other women aware that there is an alternative from the "a Cesarean section is the norm" mentality, or that birthing is always accompanied by pain. I am enthusiastic and passionate about HypnoBirthing techniques and want to help mothers achieve a more natural, calm and joyful birthing experience that they can look back at with great memories.

I trained with some of the best hypnotherapists in the country - the longest serving HypnoBirthing practitioner (Steve Griffiths) in the country and Hypnotic Solutions hypnotherapist Brian Jacobs (who trained with Paul McKenna). I am also certified and recognised as a qualified hypnotherapist by the General Hypnotherapy Register, the largest hypnotherapy organisation in the UK, the National Guild of Hypnotists, the largest hypnosis organisation in the USA and I am a member ot the HypnoBirthing Institute.
